Interview with Christine Severine
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I check friend's reviews on Goodreads when I'm in the mood.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, and some things really do get better with age.
What is your writing process?
I put myself in the mood with some music, settle down with a martini and let my fingers do all the work.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I like anything with gripping characters - I enjoy when things have a firm hold on my mind long after I read them.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like to snuggle up with my android.
How do you approach cover design?
Slowly, and with as few fonts as possible.
Describe your desk
I like it when I'm doing it in my lap, gives me more control if I can lay back and smile.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing as a teen and kept wanting more, more, more.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
It's no fun if "The Man" is always calling the shots. Sometimes a lady needs to use her skills to get what she wants.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The fans always do it for me. Also, there is a certain warm glow when you finish something long and hard.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I get some joy when I have a stick between my fingers. I guess you can say I'm a gaming pro.
