Interview with Tigris Eden

What motivated you to become an indie author?
The freedom it gave me as to when, where, and how my book will be published. I love writing, I love the freedom of it, and not that traditional pub is bad, this just worked out better for me.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The freedom to have my characters do and say whatever they want.
What do your fans mean to you?
I love my fans! Without them who would read my story! Always looking for new ones, so stop on by!
What are you working on next?
Right now I'm working on a contemporary novel, titled, The Relationship. Its my first crack at contemporary and I'm finding that its a very challenging, yet fulfilling process.
Who are your favorite authors?
I have way too many to count, but off the top of my head, my top three as of right now, in this moment.... Shayla Black, Lora Leigh, and Larissa Ione.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Waking up... Just having the promise of another day inspires me, it means one more day to write some words.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend it with family if I'm not reading or painting.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Amazon Free Reads.... You always find good authors that way!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes! Sixth grade, The Case of the Missing Pepperoni! HAHAHA! Best story ever!
What is your writing process?
Its a never ending process as I'm always thinking about the next scene... But usually its all weekend and on the weekdays after work starting at 7pm until about midnight.. Sometime later than that.
How do you approach cover design?
I try and visualize what I want and then ask some questions, see if I can find anything remotely close and then have it created from there. But there is always a picture in my mind when it comes to my covers.
