Interview with Mack Moore

What motivated you to become an indie author?
Jesus was my motivation for writing period. I never thought about or ever dreamed of becoming a writer while growing up. However God inspired me to write books.
What is your writing process?
This may seem strange, but my writing process starts off disorganized. Whatever I'm writing, I usually start off by joting down ideas and as I continue writing, then I start to organize how the book is going to go. So what I may begin with may not be the beginning. It could be the ending. I guess you could describe my writing style like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
What books do you like to read?
I love to read the bible. I also love to read books on the Illuminati and government conspiracies.
When did you first start writing?
I officially started writing books in 2008.
What's your latest book about?
My latest book cover certain topics within the Christian Church that are not adressed properly in the church. It doesn't cover the entire bible, but it does discuss some hot-button topics that are debated throughout the world. I use bible scripture throughout the book to explain certain points. This book discusses issues such as gay marriage, abortion, and suicide to name a few. It's a controversial book.
Why do you believe this book is controversial?
Because what I'm talking about will cause outrage, not just amongst Christians, but non Christians as well. For instance, the last topic in my book focuses on Christmas being pagan as well as Santa being Satan in disguise. Christians, myself included, have been misled into believing that Christmas is about the birth of Christ. This is not true and I explain it in my book. This is controversial because most people, Christians, included will have a tough time accepting this truth and falsely accuse me of being a heretic. Of course the whole book in my mind is controversial.
Are you concerned about the backlash you and your book will receive?
No! God inspired me to write and I must do the Lord's will. I do expect this book to come under heavy scrutiny though. I just hope and pray that people will read this book and follow along with their bibles and hopefully start to study the bible for themselves.
What do you hope to accomplish with this book?
I hope I can teach non Christians what Christianity is supposed to be about and give them a proper intro to Jesus. At the same time, I hope I can convince my Christian brethren to study God's Word for themselves and not to trust what preachers say because some teach the Word of God correctly. However too many don't, and these particular pastors lead people astray by teaching false doctrine. I'll be honest there are certain pastors who are false prophets.
Does your book name any people you believe are false prophets?
No! I thought about doing that, but not yet. What I wanted to do was to make people aware that there are false prophets whether they believe me or not. I do explain how false prophets can be identified in my book. In the future I will name them because I don't like my people (Christians) being led astray,
What was the purpose of you mentioning your virginity in your book?
I talk about my virginity because I thank Jesus for giving me the strength to remain a virgin. There's temptation out there and I am still a virgin because of Jesus. Believe me I have been tempted and came close before to losing my virginity. Plus I want to be an example and inspiration to others who may be virgins or going celibate. Perhaps I am not the best example but nonetheless an example. I also want to give women hope that not all men cheat.
Do you plan to do a follow-up to this book?
I have thought about it. There are more tough lessons we need to learn from the bible. If I do I don't think it'll be as long as this one.
What is the name of your other book?
The name of my other book is "Cordell's Poems of Spiritual Inspiration: Second Edition:". It's a long title but I believe it will inspire those who read it. It will soon be available through Smashwords.
