Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first I ever wrote was in primary school, we had creative Fridays and we had to write a short story about a haunted house.. Mine lasted over eleven pages (although we where only allowed to write on every other line for marking purposes) That was pretty much why I got into writing, because I loved the project we had and because reading played and does play a lot in my life.
What is your writing process?
1. An idea springs to mind 2. Quickly start writing a summary 3. Start writing chapters 4. Get bored of it 5. Think of a new idea 6. Quickly start writing a summary 7. Start writing chapters 8. Get bored of it 9. End up going back to the first and continuing Oopsies :3
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Daaamn. hell no. I've been reading since forever. Reading was my escape, I remember reading and sometimes tears fell on the pages as I tried to ignore the world around me. I can't remember when books haven't been there.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
ooooh... I couldn't order them but here.. -Darren Shan: Wolf Island, because I love Darren Shan and the Demonata saga then my sister met him and got me a signed copy of Wolf Island!! -John Green: The Fault In Our Stars, because it was the first JG book I'd read and it had such an impact on me -Stephen King: The Stand, because it was amazing and the film was great too!! -Audrey Niffenegger: The Time Traveller's Wife, because it was such a good book which I read on holiday, it was amazing and I absolutely loved it and last but not least, -Virginia Andrews: Flowers in the Attic, because it was the first book of hers I had read and lead to my craze over her books (and of course the person who wrote under her name after her death)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
