Children of Ossiria and Strange Allies share the same world, but can be read independently.

In the Strange Allies series, Della has a higher calling, but making sure her mother is taken care of always comes first, and she feels horrible every time she has to lie to her mother about her job. It's been the two of them since she was five years old, so leaving home is painful. Because Della isn't a normal girl, there will be no college graduation ceremony, no wedding to a nice man, and no grandbabies for her mother to spoil, but she'll let her mother hold on to those dreams as long as possible.

Della discovers she's a paladin at sixteen after a vampire attack, surviving due to her skin burning the undead to ashes. Graduating to Agent at eighteen, she embarks on missions to save the world, or at least as many people as she can. When the mysterious vampire Adam starts helping her cause, Agent Seven doesn't trust him. Every vampire is evil, right? Will Adam prove her wrong, or be Agent Seven's downfall?

The series is named after Ossiria - a distant planet - and the repercussions from events that took place there.

Ossiria is a land in an alternate dimension. Time runs at a different speed from Earth. A horrible event took place there that had reach on several worlds, including Earth.

Children of Ossiria includes immortals, vampires, demons, witches, paladins, and every-day humans. There is love, loss, danger, torture, sex, and blood. Definitely blood. Comes with the vampires. My characters are usually snarky, and I hope *appropriately* flawed.

It has been a passion project of mine for many years, almost as long as I've been writing fiction.

Can I just answer with The Dresden Files series? Those are insta-buy books for me.

Also loved Deborah Harkness' "All Souls" trilogy with Matthew and Diana.

Gosh, no. I've been reading since I was 2 and there have been way too many books since then. It might've been a dinosaur book. I was really into dinosaurs for the first several years of life. Wanted to be a paleontologist.

Definitely. It was a 1-page story for a high school class. The teacher liked it.
