Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on a small farm. I think it has influenced my writing because I want to write about those exciting, chaotic, dangerous, and alluring situations I never actually had the chance to experience. I write about the things I dreamed about while sitting in the loft of the barn, wanting more.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans mean everything. Without them, I am nothing.. Not a day goes by that I don't think about them, and what I can do to keep them happy, keep them reading. The readers, have all my love and respect.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
My life consists of two things; My writing and my dogs. I have two beautiful, energetic dogs that keep me busy.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 7th grade. Poetry. I had an enormous crush on a teacher and every poem I wrote for two years was about him.
Describe your desk
My desk is wherever I am when the inspiration hits. My kitchen table, the pub at the end of the block, the park with the dogs. I don't have an "office" because I never know where or when creativity will show up. Always be ready.
What do you read for pleasure?
I don't have a favorite genre. I love to read anything. SciFi, Romance, Erotica, Crime, Fantasy, Drama. Right now I'm reading a lot of old Stephen King.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love my nook. I have the basic first model, its never let me down.
