What are you working on next?
A historical romance novel set in 1848-1851 Texas, called 'Skye'.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I wrote the story of my family's immigration from Scotland to Canada, at age 9.
What is your writing process?
I write a few pages or a chapter then I edited. Editing comes with writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
A historical romance novel called 'Sebastian'. It wasn't the first story I had read, however, the impact brought me the love of reading.
How do you approach cover design?
Usually as I am writing the book, the cover is invented within my mind as to what I want it to look like.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kobo.
When did you first start writing?
At age 9, mostly short stories. I began to right novels about 10 years ago.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The research. I love to search past life's and history.
Who are your favorite authors?
Shannon Drake, Sandra Hill, to name a few.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Studying law, and spending time with my family.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Initially the cover of the book draws my attention, secondly the synopsis of the book.
What do you read for pleasure?
Historical romance novels mostly. I do enjoy a vampire type book sometimes.
