Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town in Port St Johns in a village by the name Majola where critical thing like killing of young girls, rape and women abuse is taking place but every one is silent about that no one has the courage to talk about it I was having to write to say anything I choose to write down in hope that maybe they will here my voice when I wrote down and show my pain.
When did you first start writing?
I started in 2014.
What motivated you to become an author?
The helplessness of my village motivated me a lot to become an author it gave me the strength to face problem with my book although it will take time to reach them but I know one day it will, so that they will see that there are people who were dying because of their silent and decided to raise their voice in writing.
What is your writing process?
By the connection to my ancestors and listening to their voice my writing went well.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote? What was it about?
Yes it was about my high school life.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Is to express your feeling without any objection open your heart and become friend with your writing to talk less and write more.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes nyana wam nyana wam it gave me the reason to be passionate about everything that I want to achieve and give it time to achieve my dreams.
What are your five favourite books, and why?
Buzani kubawo - this book thhought me about difficulties of love and cultures that were happen years ago.
Inkaw' udliwilila - the greedyness that took place becouse of jealous and killing.
Nothing but the truth - thing that happen in TRC and lies that were hidden
Iphoco - collection of poetry.
The voice of the voiceless - collection of poetry.
What do you read for pleasure?
Magazine
What do your readers mean to you?
They mean a lot because I want them to open their eyes buy my voice and see how cruel is this world to them.
