When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Oh goodness, I have so many hobbies. I show horses, I sew historical costumes for fun.. I know some think of it as work, but not me. I also am an artist and an actor. I should be doing some Shakespeare now, but took the fall off to work on my upcoming book.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Through word of mouth. It's the best way.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I wrote this story about going to a mythical land on the path I used to walk home on growing up. I have it some where scrawled out in a binder.
What is your writing process?
I normally write at night, I am a bit of a night owl.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read was "The Black Stallion." How it impacted me? I have owned an Arabian horses or an Half-Arabian ever since.
How do you approach cover design?
I am a former, kinda retired graphic designer. I look for key elements in my stories and draw off them in my designs.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I really like my kindle mainly because I have it on all of my devices.
Describe your desk
Which one? I have two...My real desk was from my grandmother, I love it. It has tons of pictures and "Hildagio" the Breyer horse on the top. My other desk is the corner of my bed. I am always cold so I wrap up like a mummy and write or research.
When did you first start writing?
I have been writing since I was a teen, about 13/14 or so.
