Interview with Ada Haynes
Published 2017-03-05.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. I was 8 years old, and was fascinated by the color pens of my grand-mother. So I made up a story of an indian warrior, illustrating the sentences with drawings in red, blue and green. I got as far as 12 pages, then killed my character, because so much drawing was not so fun anymore.
What is your writing process?
Up till now, I was messy writer. Always has trouble to start, I had a few clear points that I wanted to bring in the storyline, and I was making the rest up as I was writing.
Also, deadlines are the best for me.
I am trying to use a clear outline for me current project, however. Messiness is not fast enough for me.
