Interview with Ineke

Do you really believe Jesus is coming soon?
Yes--quite possibly in my lifetime.
Is that why you wrote your book 'Spirals'?
Yes it is. God wants the message to be told but people don't want to hear it. The time is very close for it to happen. All prophecies relating to His coming have been fulfilled.
Why don't you just talk to people?
Most people prefer to change the subject so I have created fictional characters and a fictional town to tell the story and show how the events may very well happen. Of course, my timeline is not likely accurate, but the sequence of events are.
What makes you so sure He's coming?
The geographical world is changing rapidly. There have been more tsunamis, severe earthquakes, droughts and fires in the last decade than ever before and all of that is happening more frequently. In addition to that the incidents of kidnappings and bombings, beheadings and killing of police officers, tortures and rape are sadly becoming everyday occurrences. And it's just the beginning--it's only the tip of the political world.
But that's coincidence. It's just the way things happen.
Jesus, Daniel, Ezekiel and others foretold these events long ago. Reading the twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew would be a good place to start checking out those 'coincidences'. You can read how two thousand years ago Jesus gave insight and clarification in answer to his disciples questions concerning the end. For further understanding two books (besides the Bible)--"What in the World is Going On?" by Dr. David Jeremiah as well as "The Revelation Record" by Henry M. Morris are excellent references.
So, this coming of Jesus is called "The Rapture"?
Yes it is.
What do you understand that to mean?
The Bible tells us it is the time when Jesus will come and receive the dead in Christ and the living believers to Himself in the clouds and from there take all to heaven with Him. For reference read 1 Thess. 4:15-17.
What do you think will happen to all the good people who get left behind?
Millions of those who are left behind at the time of the Rapture will die as a result of the disappearance of the millions of Christians who were flying airplanes, driving vehicles, piloting ships, fighting fires, performing operations and so on. Those who die unsaved at that time will have no second chance. Unsaved people will not go to heaven.
Do you mean they will go to hell?
That is correct.
I can't believe a loving God would do that. Do you have proof?
He is truly a loving God who gave up His only Son to die so that we can be free. But people won't listen. You can research it yourself using a Bible concordance and look under 'judgment' or 'hell'. But here are a few verses to get you started. Ecclesiastes 12:13b-14: "Fear God and keep His commandments! For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil."
In 2 Peter 2:4,8, we read: "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgement, while continuing their punishment."
A loving earthly father punishes his children. A loving heavenly does the same on a much bigger scale--but only if they reject Him.
Will that be the end of the world?
After the Rapture, the world as we know it will experience seven years of the most terrible punishments this world has ever seen. There won't be much left, nor will many survive. After that time He will come again and then there will be a thousand years of peace before the final judgment. And that's the nutshell version.
What if you're wrong about people having a second chance after the Rapture?
This story was based on Psalm 145:18 which says: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; he hears their cry and saves them." It is my personal belief that He will be there for those who recognize they have made the biggest mistake of their lives and so I have created characters who deal with the horrors of the Tribulation from that point of view.
In 2 Thesselonians it says God will send a powerful delusion over those who are left behind. We won't know truth from lie.
How terrible and final that will be. The bottom line is that you need to make sure now that you will be gathered to heaven when He comes. You can't afford to take chances.
What must I do to be saved?
If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9.
Has anyone purchased your book?
Indeed they have. And many more have read this interview. But it's not about how many people buy my book or how much money it will make. Its about sharing God's Word with others. That's why I wrote it. He says: "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11. Perhaps my story will bring others to be part of God's harvest.
