Interview with Aida C. Emanuels

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I've read so many books, but the one story I read that had an impact on me besides the books of the bible, was Ignite by Ron Moore. I met the author personally at a conference and throughout his entire book, from beginning to end, there was always something I was able to relate to in the stories he shared.
How do you approach cover design?
I had a vision of my cover design for my first book. I guess I will be able to elabarate more on this topic after my third or forth cover design. Then I will be able to make some comparisons.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
The Bible- It has given me guidance to live a fulfilled life. One full of hope.

I grew up in a small town called Wageningen located in Suriname, South America. I always wanted to do something different and writing an english non-fiction has been one of my greatest accomplishments since Dutch is my first language and English my second.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing about seven years ago, mostly short stories written in my own personal journals.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book is a story of trust, surrendering, and freedom. A story detailing how God does the impossible and miraculous when you least expect it.
