Interview with Pastoria Levior

Published 2014-10-03.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing during around fourth grade, after a period of sudden creativity. Originally I hated anything creative - preferring practical, nonfiction work over fiction. I believe it was the Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton that inspired me to start writing my own material.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Dreams of isolation in the wintery emptiness of Svalbard.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My friend Ciara Emily.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am interested in music, composing and performing my own original material under the pseudonym Boy Behind the Fence. Check out my music at the following link -

There is a story that floats around Norway, passing from ear to ear - of a man, an old musician, who lives alone on the isle of Spitsbergen, Svalbard, maintaining the largest Global Seed Vault on Earth. Forlorn with the death of his wife, he spends his days obsessing over the Seedbank, wasting away until bitter death greets. But death does not have to be bitter.
