What is your e-reading device of choice?
Samsung Tab3
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town of 10,000 people in the state of Maryland. There was not much to do at that time in a small town so I developed a love for reading books. I spent a lot of time in the library and checked out as many books as was allowed. Starting when I was twelve I read many mysteries and romance novels. A love for writing developed from a love for reading.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I have always enjoyed helping other people and this desire evolved into writing the Fraud and Identity Theft Collection. It is my wish that I will be able to help prevent someone from being a victim of identity theft.
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on Book III of the Fraud and Identity Theft Collection.
When did you first start writing?
I fell in love with reading and writing when I was in grade school. I remember winning a short story contest when I was in the third grade. My story was about space ships and aliens. Over the years I have used my writing skills in the mortgage industry profession.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I have always liked helping people and I thought the fraud series collection would help save people from being victimized by fraudsters and hackers.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My motivation is the love of writing, helping people and the ability to provide e-books to many people across the globe.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My love for my children and grandchildren are my reasons to get out of bed each day.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend a lot of time reading and researching different topics and questions i may have that come up in daily life. I also like to watch movies with a preference for comedy and suspense. Also have a liking for Investigation Discovery TV channel.
What is your writing process?
As a non-fiction writer I start with (1) research a topic, (2) prepare the outline, (3) prepare a draft (4) several rewrites (5) finalize the book
