When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I enjoy reading manga and watching anime. It's been a serious passion of mine for pretty much all of my adult life and something that I never get tired of.
When did you first start writing?
I've been writing ever since grade school. I absolutely adored creative writing assignments in school even if they often got me sent to the counselor's office.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I decided to do the indie/self publishing route because I honestly don't feel that I have the talent or drive to go through the traditional route. I can't help but think that me sending my manuscripts to a professional agent or editor would be a waste of everyone's time. I still want my stories to be read and enjoyed by others though so that's why I'm going the self publishing route.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Random positive comments from people who have read and enjoyed anything that I've created.
What are you working on next?
A sequel to my first novel titled Immortal Addiction. It will follow Olivia and her new friend, an exiled goddess, as they meet a mysterious stranger who has taken an interest in the goddess. What his interest in her actually is though is anyone's guess and Olivia must figure it out in order to protect her friend from what she sees as potential danger.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
How do you get the inspiration/motivation to write?
If you'll forgive me for starting this answer with a quote, I believe it was Stephen King who said "Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work." Writing for me is like breathing; I don't wait for inspiration... I write because if I don't I will quite literally suffer both physically and emotionally. I can skip a day here and there but writing is my life and I can't imagine doing anything different.
