Interview with Alison Charm

Published 2015-12-19.
What are your favorite books, and why?
Frankly, I don't have a favorite book but I bought books I tend to reread again like Harry Potter and Jane Austen's books. Pride and Prejudice definitely influenced me in how I look and understand various situations and people. As of now, I will read anything my mood takes me. For example, I sometimes felt like I needed to escape from the world so you'll find me with a historical or fantasy novel. Sometimes, I needed to believe that love and good are out there, so I'll read something light and comical. Must we have a favorite book?
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Kobo and iPhone and it's hard for me to choose between the two because I use both based on convenience. If my bag is too heavy then iPhone it is. However, I still prefer to have the paper version. The feel of the paper and all. I know it's weird but hey! What you like is what you like!
Describe your desk
I suppose this question is asked based on the assumption I do my typing at the desk. Well, I sometimes do but you'll often find me typing away on the couch or bed. Haha! I don't like to sit in one place too long.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing stories when I was in high school which was eons ago. I've only started publishing some of my work recently because I want others to laugh a little and learn a little. I'm not looking for my stories to have like a blockbuster impact or anything because I'm nowhere near there, I know, but just have a little fun.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are people who encourage me to write. They make me want to be creative. Their comments though sometimes hurt, are truthful and constructive. I will try to write better. I'm still learning. This is fairly new to me and I'm happy people are still willing to support me on my way.
Books you've written so far:
Readers may find that my books suddenly disappear from the libraries. Well, the reason is because I'm editing or revamping them. Enjoy the new versions!
