Interview with Danny E. Allen

When did you first start writing?
I was sequestered in a hospital for long--term care. Spending my time attending therapy-classes, taking medication and awaiting meals, I had plenty of time to do other things. By the third week into writing; I had a full-novel in hand-written steno pads... I was amazed at how when under limited-activity one could be inspired and motivated to think creatively, and make a new-book... I then planned other works, just imagining what would be a good-work of literary-art. What I thought was worthy of writing about. This was my initial epiphany that lead to a new-emerging as writer, author and artist; I found I had all kinds of artistic talent. My inspiration drove me and drew me into being an assertive author, I have over 168 titles since then I've stored in a notebook for the future. My major imagination and all my ideas are fascinating and diverse, I plan to write at least 35 titles by 2019. My writing-career is based on conception and creative, which I think, if you can be self-devoted could be done by most.
What's the story behind your latest book?
"The Neighborhood", is a full-opus on considerations and formatively, original-implication; where person, people, place and time are revealed-in a context and complex-of life; as a maturing-adult and as a place of personal-ratification. ...The living-standards of purpose and fact, like John-Boy in "The Waltons"; and the many factual-facilitations, resonation and resign-of "Good Times". From this multifaceted, pogrom many filiaments and fulfillments come out; as the standards and stand-outs of proxy, purpose-preciousness, and as proximal... It's an attainment and adjustment-of prospects and the past, and a vivid-attitude... As such, it's a wonderful-take on testament and terms, as a competent and consideration of what became a personification...
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've always wanted to be a writer since '94 when I was placed on a limited-access hospital ward. There all I had was a small-pencil, a piece of paper and time. In '09, I learned of Smashwords through Writer's Digest, when I learned it was free to publish after 15 years of searching for a agent, publisher and affordable printing I found this site.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Immensely, now I devoted more time to exploring my ideas, imagination and advancing my works. No more sending letters, copying, typing and the like. All I do is upload after formatting. My hopes have really, been advanced immeasurably.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Freedom. Now, I can write anything I want, enjoying the creative, exciting and craft of writing.
What do your fans mean to you?
Indubitable-fortune and empathy, they are what makes me see how the fantastic world of literature works. I see my fans as a social-event in my life.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on 'The Neighborhood', an insightful and easily, revealing story about life, spirit and the fortunate-espousings. ...We; as community-portrayers, in a 'The Waltons'/'Good times' like incentive; you'll see the inside-out and outside-in of the social, interactive and perceptive virtues of life as a resident of a area. ... I found this very-intriguing, because although we can only live in our own homes, there are all an enigmatic-consigning to place, personal-incentive and the very-definitive and developmental-protocol of being in a public-presiding. ...Danny, uses his imagery, skill and interpretation; to exposition about this fact; and the focal points of this-fostering. It's like a conception, covering what one may not see in subsequent-awareness, and an affective-availing.
Who are your favorite authors?
Steven King, James Herriot, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Alex Haley, Sir Arthur Canon Doyle, et al. I like vivid authors because they bring power to their writing without over-pressing. The excitements in self-virtue.
