Interview with Amy Evans

What was that first idea that sparked Jellybean Kisses?
A memory from being sixteen and kissing my boyfriend while we were eating jellybeans.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Yes, that it’s important to have roots and wings. You need to know where you come from and what your values are, but still be open to new things.
How do you approach cover design?
I brainstorm a bunch of ideas and then hire Regina Wamba. She goes through my thoughts, reads the book, and comes back with her own interpretations. She does amazing work!
What do you read for pleasure?
I love non-fiction, conspiracy theories and really romantic love stories. Nora Roberts is definitely my guilty pleasure.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I read on my iphone, using the browser and / or a Kindle app.

They've been stuck in a fake relationship for years, because Jacey's become an ice queen, and Jax is afraid she'll freeze him out if he pushes too hard. They're in an awkward, confusing friendzone even though they both want more.
