Interview with Angela Oguche Onoja

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a my little village years back with my educationist parent.
This has alot of impact on my writing as eighty percent of my books has village settings.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing while i was in junior class in my secondary school.
I wrote a story about a woman who had a miracle child after several years of waiting.
The story was really interesting as my classmates all read the story and commended me for a job well done.
I lost the manuscript on our graduation ceremony day anyway, but that gave me assurance that i can write.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story line of my latest book is all about challenges of life which can easily be overcome by ones determination.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have read alot of stories in my life time and am still reading more.
i respect authors alot and admire them as well,
hence, my desire to be an author too gave birth to my writing career.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords gave me the opportunity to publish my first book.
That really made me feel cool.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My greatest joy of been a writer is the opportunity given through the internet to be read all over the world.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean so much to me because without them, i will go no where with my writing career.
What are you working on next?
Am already putting plans together to market the books i have writen and am working on other books as well.
Basically, i will launch a blog soon.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The characters in my head begging to be heard is my inspiration and
