Interview with Alex Carver

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Creating new worlds or communities, developing characters and seeing how they grow.
What do your fans mean to you?
Having people get in touch and tell me what they think of my writing is one of the best things ever, it makes me feel as though the time spent writing has been worthwhile
What are you working on next?
Currently I am editing a serial killer thriller, Written In Blood, and working on the 2nd draft of An Eye For An Eye, which is the 2nd book in my Inspector Stone series. My novels are exclusive to Amazon at the moment but will be coming to Smashwords in the future.
Who are your favorite authors?
George R R Martin, Anne McCaffrey, Jeffrey Archer, David Eddings
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to watch films/TV and play games when I'm not writing, they help me to relax and feed my inspiration
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I subscribe to a number of mailing lists, and have authors I love to read whose books I am collecting.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was a children's adventure story I wrote when I was about 10 for an English project; I wish I still had it so I could develop it for release.
When did you first start writing?
I was about 10, and was given a creative writing assignment in school.
