Home - novel
by Ardian-Christian Kyçyku
'Home' is the story of an Albanian immigrant who is killed physically as well as metaphorically. Written in an archetypal Albanian language (the hero's nickname comes from "Ho, me, Ç'kena", meaning "What's up, Mate?"), the novel speaks about the deep semiotics and mystery of the relationships between motherland and diaspora, exile and art, language and speech, childhood and the remaining spaces.
