Interview with Vaibhav Ahuja

When did you first start writing?
At the age of 7
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My Father and my Grandmother (Dad's Mom) were the guiding influences... both are published authors.
What do your fans mean to you?
They are my friends and I write for them so that they too share my emotional journey and laugh all the way.
Who are your favorite authors?
I am a voracious reader. I read everything from American, British and Indian authors to anyone who writes in English.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Sports... I play cricket, soccer (football) and badminton for my school and I swim when I get the chance.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I have traveled to Philippines, Australia, Singapore, UAE, UK, France, Belgium, Indonesia, Thailand and have lived in Malaysia, India and the UAE... can you imagine the exposure to different cultures and the variety of thinking and speaking styles? What fun then to incorporate the differences and show the similarities that bind people from such diverse backgrounds.
