What do you read for pleasure?
For pleasure, I love to read books with genres; mystery, realistic fiction, crime and thriller.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I prefer cell phone but sometimes, computer is a good choice.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Pakistan, living with my grandparents. The bedtime stories that my grandma used to tell me and the encouragement I received from both of my grandparents resulted in me grabbing the pen and getting started. So, yes, I can say that those bedtime stories definitely influenced me and that, in a good way.
When did you first start writing?
I cannot be exactly sure but I think it was in 4th grade.
What's the story behind your latest book?
There are always stories lying around us. There's not a particular story that is behind my book, so I can't pin point to it but I'd say that I combine imagination with harsh realities that are found in the vicinity.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My passion for writing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The satisfaction of playing around with words, creating something that throws light upon the dark realities, creating characters that people can relate to and stories that people can enjoy. All of this brings me joy.
What do your fans mean to you?
I am very thankful to all of them and they are very important to me. As it is their endless support and love, that has brought me where I am.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a psychological and crime thriller.

Sir Arthur Canon Doyle, Agatha Christie and Roald Dahl are my top favourite authors.
