Published 2014-03-20.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, watching movies, walking the dog, visiting friends, traveling.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Mostly through Audible or Amazon.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was called "Forbidden Past" and its on a floppy disk somewhere ;)
What is your writing process?
I like to sketch (others call it outlining) out the book. This outline usually is work nothing because the characters run wild, but I still insist on doing it before I start because it makes me feel better.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Don't remember the first story I ever read. I remember the first book that ever made me cry. Tamora Pierce, Alanna Series. I had to rewrite the ending for my own piece of mind!
How do you approach cover design?
Most of the time I have no clue what I want as the cover, but more and more I find myself going on sites like Bigstock to get inspired. This way I can let the cover designer know what kind of person/scene I'm looking for. In general, I like perusing book covers. It's fun!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Favorite Five Books?! Ahh! If they asked for favorite authors that would make this so much easier!!

1. Harry Potter Series
2. Feral Sins
3. Twice Tempted
4. Almost Forever
5. Kiss of Snow/Angel's Blood
What do you read for pleasure?
My favorite genres: paranormal/contemporary romance and fantasy.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Freebies. I can't deny, you always get a reaction- good or bad.
Describe your desk
Dual screen (27" iMac, love my Mac!!), a collage of notes beneath the plastic beneath my keyboard, notepad nearby.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Hawaii. I think this influenced my writing in that Hawaii is a very peaceful place that allows my mind to create. Just driving around here, you can't help but be fascinated by the landscape (which I am). Also, Hawaii is known as the "melting pot" so there are people from all over the world that come here to settle.
When did you first start writing?
I think 10.
