Describe your desk
Basic beautiful Oakwood desk w/ built-in over the desk light and built in 4 drawn for storing and filing documents.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on the south side of Chicago, in the Englewood community.
When did you first start writing?
I use to write & rap my own lyrics, back in the 80's. But never wrote a book until now after I gave up rap. I still wrote poems because my raps was always poetic.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My book is an inspiration of poems that I was inspired by the late and great Maya Angelou to write to encourage the youth & inspire dreams in men & women my age & build up the elderly.
