What are your five favorite books, and why?
Difficult question.

Tolstoy - War and Peace for everything especially the battle scenes and deep human insights.
Dostoevsky - The Idiot. Dostoevsky is just so against the grain of what is expected. Everything he writes is so interesting.
Sivananda - Thought Control. This books is illuminated with divine wisdom
Initiation into Hermetics Frans Bardon. The most important book on magic from the 20th century
Treatise on White Magic Alice Bailey. A genius of epic proportions explains the universe
What do you read for pleasure?
Books on religion and magic mainly and the occasional technical manual on visual effects.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I do everything on cell phone but i convert to pdf and use a text to speech reader on android so i can read and drive
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I havent tried any yet, but I will be working with video and youtube on my channel ayahuasca magic
Describe your desk
A home made standing desk made by my neighbour. No more sitting down for me thank you.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Scotland and Maine. Im not sure this has influenced my writing much in this case, except for excessive honesty. That's a pretty Scottish trait.
When did you first start writing?
I have a degree in English Lit. So I suppose I always wanted to write but I never felt I had good enough stories.

I do now.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The emergence of the magical world into the physical world. It's non-fiction.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My story had to be told as a warning to others.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
After years of working with numerous creaive directors on commercial projects, it is truly amazing to have complete creative freedom.
What do your fans mean to you?
I have no fans yet, but i have a small following on Youtube and facebook under the AyahuascaMagic handle. They are great and im very proud of the people I am helping.
What are you working on next?
Possibly a screenplay of ayahuasca magic, not the book but an documentary about what is really important about Ayahausca. Not health, magic.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I love my work. Totally fun!

Studying and researching
