Normally its my floor with all my things spread out around it, or if the weather is nice, it's my patio or the grassy patch close enough to my house so I can still use wifi.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Grew up in a small town that is now a big city, never really traveled until I graduated high school, and since then I've made exploring-different places, cultures, people-one of my top priorities. This sense of adventure tinged with a bit of hesitancy.
When did you first start writing?
Since I could pick up a pencil and that little space divider thing they made you use in kindergarten.
What's the story behind your latest book?
As all great ideas begin-in a dream.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love reading what people are able to come up with, whether they are published officially or self published, and I thought that I just want people to read and enjoy my book. Making money isn't that important to me. It's more about the art than the profit.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Watching the story unfold underneath your fingertips.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The love of the day. And normally an hour worth of morning exercises.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Doing pretty much anything and everything. Right now I'm actually researching sloths in Costa Rica.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
When I finally broke down and got a nook, I was amazed by the wealth of free books that were all super unique and enjoyable, despite the typo every now and then.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I've had my nook since 2009 and I tell everyone how much I love it.
