Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up In Lexington,Tn and it influence by being a small a town. Getting a chance to know everyone, it a country town, so there are many places I could go to relax and be one with nature.
When did you first start writing?
I have been writing since i was about 12, I had a love for poetry
What's the story behind your latest book?
Being a father and knowing how excited I was with the birth of my kids and the whole process of pregnancy. The outlook is a whole lot different from that of a woman's and I wanted to share.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I do daily quotes, and I had a family member tell me I should turn it into a book. So knowing this was something small for me, but a start to something new, I set out to see what all I could do on my own.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords is a great forum with lots of good information at your finger tips. Their guidelines are easy to follow and they help set you up for success.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To me it is expressing my thoughts and feelings. I don't look care about the sales, to me if I can reach one person who gains something out of my book I have made a impact and that keeps me going.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean the world, they keep me going. Daily motivation to keep it going, keep me thinking of what to do next.
What are you working on next?
I will start to work on my next motivational book. i want to go a bit more in detail from my first book It's Your Life, Live It, Love It. Then do a children's book.
Who are your favorite authors?
James Peterson, Langston Hughes, Dr. Martin Luther King,Walter Mosley, Stephen King
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Life. I have to enjoy every moment and go through each phase.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Family time is the best

Sometimes I may have a topic in mind I research or see what others have been raving about
