Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes, I remember reading and quoting poetry with my Dad and older brother. In first grade I carried a book in my back pocket by Robert W. Service. I was inspired to read because his writings were fun. It was something special that I shared with my loved ones.
How do you approach cover design?
I look for something unique that draws the attention to the readers.
What do you read for pleasure?
Mystery and drama. I also enjoy poetry.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle
When did you first start writing?
I started writing early in my childhood.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It helped guide me through the process and made things more simple.
What are you working on next?
A book called The Wrong Side of the Blanket. This also contains, murder, mystery, love, wealth and poverty.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I'm very passionate about reading.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, riding horseback, swimming and traveling.
