My trilogy "Poisoned Soul" is finished. I plan to publish in print. I also sell abstract artwork on absolutearts.com When my books are popular I am going to make them into a mini series
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Walking, going to the park, researching, and marketing my first two books.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Looking on the same sites I'm on.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was a children's book by the name of Peanuts.
What is your writing process?
Take lots of notes, use the thesaurus on my smart phone, drink Mountain dew and smoke.
How do you approach cover design?
I approach it very thoughtfully. Come up with the perfect image that has something to do with the whole story. Figure out a great name and have my daughter design it for me. She's very good!
What do you read for pleasure?
Danielle Steel, Stephen King, Larry Mcmurtry, a vast array of genres.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I don't own one but borrow my sisters I pad. When I'm rich and famous I'll purchase my own:)
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I'm just learning. I've used some social marketing but that is so limited . I just downloaded Mark Cokers Marketing Guide. Going home to read it.
Describe your desk
It's small, has my computer, keyboard room for notebooks and a picture of my newly deceased daughter. I also have a vision board behind my computer screen. My desk is small but serves the purpose and is actually sort of cute.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
In Denver, co. So far my only novel is based in Denver.
When did you first start writing?
As soon as I knew how to write. Wrote my first real book when I was 11 years old, I have since had it published.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I don't really have one, I decided to write a book one day and just started typing...I never quit!:)
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Querying for years with no success. It seemed like the smart thing to do. I dream of having my books in print.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It gave me the opportunity to publish and they even helped me format my first novel for free, which I truly appreciate!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Using my imagination,and having people enjoy my work.
What do your fans mean to you?
That's funny! my fans so far are my family and friends. If and when I have real fans,I will cherish them!

Lonesome Dove, any Stephen King, poetry anthologies which I am published in,Shades of Grey books, the Twilight Trilogy, the help... too many to name I just love to read!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
James and the Giant Peach. It opened up the world of books to me and got me thinking about writing myself. I love the imagination!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I love all styles of books because there are so many ideas in this world that you go without if you weren't an avid reader.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The prospect of a new day. The early morning sunrise. Coffee. A clean slate...
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In 10?
In five years...my books will be published in print and the movie deal in the works. In ten years I will continue writing and working on my art. I'll be famous.
What does being an author mean to you?
It has been the best experience of my life. I live to write and write to live. My next book is entitled, "Sarah... The Journey of a Teenage Alcoholic" It's about my daughter who I recently lost. I love to share my stories with the world.
