What's the story behind your latest book?
The Adventures of J. Pierpont McPooch. As an art teacher I work with elementary age students. I wanted to create a book that was fun and educational. I love dogs and magic so a traveling hound with a magic suitcase inspired my imagination. Geography is a topic often passed over in schools. I wanted students to learn about the USA and the world in a lighthearted way. I created the McPooch Mail-A-Tale series - 50 state books and books on countries and cities. They are ebooks meant for kids to exchange or family to send to kids about places they visit. I hope my books amuse my readers as they explore our world.
