Interview with Bridgette Chung

Published 2015-08-10.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A simple girl experiencing more than she should at her age which would be the sex, the fights, the drama; it's a lot for an eighteen year old to process.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have a lot going on in my mind and I find that the best way to express them is to get them on paper- figuratively speaking of course. Once that was done- I loved it, I loved writing and switching up my ideas and stories in hopes to appeal to both my readers and the modern society.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Creating different lives, situations, worlds, dimensions- hell, basically escaping the real world for a couple of hours.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. I am thrilled at the idea that someone likes my work and that maybe they can escape reality for a while too.
What are you working on next?
I'm a bit lost right now but I've recently started something a little more grown up and a little more graphic.
When did you first start writing?
English class in Tenth grade
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
A short story back in tenth grade. It was about a young girl and her evil step mother who eventually killed her father.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Every day is a new adventure and a new opportunity to be a better person. I get out of bed because I think of every day as a fresh start to make up for the crappy day I had before.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Music mostly and focusing on completing the few years I have left in college.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
On Smashwords.com, of course and also Wattpad.com
