What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Wanting to put words that came to mind on paper.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
With friends, thinking, going for a walk, observing people, listening to music and practice singing.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes.
What is your writing process?
A thought will come into my head, ill feel the urge to write it down and once done I broaden it into a story line and built my characters around the original thought/theme.
How do you approach cover design?
I try to reflect some essence of my story onto my covers.
What do you read for pleasure?
Dan Brown, Jeffrey Archer and similar.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
A Tablet.
Describe your desk
Writing paper, pens, colored pencils, index cards and colored card of similar size, my laptop, my printer, printing paper, a oxford dictionary and a pot plant that very often gets neglected.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in South Africa. It helped me to write in two languages and with my interaction with people from different cultures.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The feeling of accomplishment and the joy in my readers.
What do your fans mean to you?
I will not be able to tell my stories without them. they mean the world to me....
What are you working on next?
On the first book of my book series SECRETS IN THE KAROO
