My latest book is poetry but my last novel is Raging Nightmare. It is book 5 of a series and can be read as the last book of the series or the first book as you can start at either end of this series. I started the series many years ago with the first book 1964 Chasing a Dream which was at first autobiographical. However, characters have a way of developing into their own personality so although the story is still based on a lot of true facts, the novel is fictional. This book was to be a stand alone but after I was finished the main character, Marlee would not go away so I continued her story right through to book 4. In Book 5 the story goes back to the 1930s and is about Marlee's mother and father before Marlee was born.

I've been writing all my life with my first little book of poems at 11 and 3/4 years of age. After that there were songs and short stories.My first novel though was not until I was into my 50s. I was motivated because I had so much material and wanted to publish it.

Smashwords was the first place I turned to and it has been great. Although I don't sell a lot of copies on Smashwords, I do sell the majority of my books on Barnes & Noble and iTunes (Apple) Smashwords is a great distributor to start from and creating and uploading to it is easy.
