Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the inner city of New Orleans, Louisiana and growing up there influence my writing because of the friendly environment. At home in New Orleans when I was growing up everyone was friendly, spoke to one another and they were genuinely kind people. Your next door neighbor look out for you when you were on vacation or just came by to check on you to see if you needed anything. That influence is what spark me to create a magazine to showcase others giving the small churches, unknown gospel artist and Christian businesses, business owners a platform to showcase their gift, talent, and ministry or services where they may not get the opportunity to do otherwise.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2007 when wrote my first book title Waiting For Change and I worte another book title My Reflection in 2015. These books were written to encourage women and men to change their life and stop waiting for something great to happen an make that great.mark on their own life.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I have a desire to bring opportunity and exposure to those who may not be known to the world, but are great in doing their part in touching the lives of others, through business and ministry. I thought what better way to do that but to create a magazine discussing and displaying those men and women. The title of the Magazine is Hidden Gems and Jewels. I am really excited about this because my magazine gives the small churches, unknown gospel artist and Christian businesse, businesss, a platform to showcase their gift, talent, and ministry or services.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are the most important because they took the time out of their busy schedule to read my books, and magazines that featured amazing stories about women and men touching and making a differnce in the life of young and old around the globe.
What are you working on next?
I would like to write my Autobiography.
