The Grief Recovery Handbook - It allowed me to heal the wounds of my past and forgive those that have hurt me.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality - It allowed me to see me as a flawed person without judgement or condemnation and allowed me work on my emotions that I had issues dealing with.
I know why the caged bird sings - This was the first book I read to completion in Junior High School. It showed me the world in a a different way that even though I felt different as a bi-racial child it helped me learn about tolerance, strength, overcoming trauma and love.
