I do not like rigid schemas. sometimes I begin to write the story from the end, sometimes from the inside. The only rule that I follow is that I'm trying to have a peaceful environment , a cup of coffee and a dog next to me
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes. I was very young and I came up with the idea to write a short story about zombies. I didn't know that for several years this subject become so popular . So you could say that I wrote about zombies before it became fashionable (laugh)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Poland Communist regime , it changed when I was a teenager. However, I did not feel too much pain because my parents have provided me and my siblings really cool life . In our house everybody read a lot. .. Even as a child I read one book after another , which greatly evolved my imagination. I think it's had a huge influence on my work . Once I researched the unusual worlds invented by other writers , and now I can create such worlds.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read a lot and these are the things about various topics . I often reach for bestsellers , but not in order to copy them , but in order to learn. I also like all the socio-political magazines , travel magazines and history books.
When did you first start writing?
I was eight years old. I wrote the first story
