Interview with Cyril Salvant III

What do your fans mean to you?
When you have a career in entertainment, your fans mean a lot. You're always unsure wether you're going to make it this industry but my fans are the one thing that I am sure about. My fans opinions, encouragement as well as their story ideas mean a lot.
What are you working on next?
I plan on working on a Fantasy novel next and I've had ideas for one for quite sometime now.
Who are your favorite authors?
Some I favorite authors are: George RR Martin, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Frank Turek.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
New ideas are one thing that inspries me to get out of bed each day. Whenever I get fresh or new ideas for a story, I feel empowered.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend my time playing video games, watching movies or reading. One way or another, I surround myself with stories.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
When it comes to ebooks, I tend to check out Amazon or Google Play Books
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I do. It was a story titled The Mad Volcano that I wrote in first grade.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is all about research first. When I get a new idea, I immediately look to the internet to research historical places, myths etc. This helps me get an idea on where I want to take my story and its characters.
Describe your desk
My desk is very messy! Sometimes there's so much that goes on in my mind, that I go from one idea to the next and I feel that my desk reflects this.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing when I was very young and from there my imagination just seemed take off.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy when it comes to writing for me is seeing the excitment on other peoples faces. I want to change the world and impower other peoples imaginations through writing.
