What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My dreams! To know that I have been blessed with another day to experience my Gods blessings and gifts.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Cars, I love them. Video games, my wife my children, meditation or getting closer to my higher self.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Search for them.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes my movie script. Which I was able to write this book based from.
What is your writing process?
I write a movie script 1st, then I turn that into a book. This helps me to keep the excitement and gravity of my story.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
It had to be a comic strip, I believe a peanut newspaper comic strip, one with snoopy and his bird friend. But I do not remember details. From that strip inspired me to get into comic books and other comic strips, that inspired me to draw. Through drawing and reading comic books I always seen me reading my on comic book one day.
How do you approach cover design?
I go to sleep and have a awesome dream. Once I wake which ever hottest Image comes to mind I draw, then go from there.
What do you read for pleasure?
Graphic novels like injustice league, other then that in pretty much a slow reader.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My iPad

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
San Diego, California. It's the west coast who doesn't love the west coast! Yah, Da, Die!
What's the story behind your latest book?
“What goes down, must come up!” is a story with interconnected characters, with a urban theme and storyline. The novel is literary in style, holding a touch of suspense and laced with theological undertones. A book about a college students life turned upside down, can his education and love for the arts help him turn his life right side up?
Or will stress keep him down and out!.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
In 2010 Harrell survived a horrific altercation with SDPD. The result of this, is his 1st novel.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I have yet to find out, this is my 1st time using smash words
