Interview with DJ Cameron

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in New Mexico and Arizona. I have lived in the Arizona desert for over 30 years.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2008.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book Haunted Hillary by Diana Klabis was inspired by my 10 year old grand daughter. She loves to watch one of my favorite TV shows which is Ghost Hunters on SyFy. We talk about the show and about the paranormal.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
After I wrote my first book Echoes of the Past by D.J. Cameron, I began looking into avenues of publication. After researching the different ways to publish I decided to go with self publishing and let the readers decide what they like.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords allows me to keep the cost to the consumer low and allows the reading community to use any e-reading device of their choice.
