Interview with Ron Bolger

What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are everything. Although I write what I want when I want if it was not for fans I might just as well be standing in a dark closet talking to myself.
What are you working on next?
As I enjoy time travel theory my next nearest to completion novel involves plenty.
Who are your favorite authors?
There are just too many to list but here are some in no particular order.
Tom Robbins
Robert A. Heinlein
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Geoffrey Chaucer
The list goes on and becomes a bit obscure.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Well, I have a full time job because bills need to paid and I need food. I will take some time to work on on 3d models such as the banner on my blog
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I do for some reason. I was in 4th grade. Mind you this would have been in the late 50's. I wrote a story called King of the Beatniks and the Silver Pizza plate. Not my finest hour but ya gotta start somewhere.
What is your writing process?
Hand written. Every word goes into a, or a series of, notebooks. Then rewrite, then rewrite, the type it up, print it out and rewrite.
How do you approach cover design?
I am a (silent) partner in a graphic design firm. I send it to my lead designer.
Sorry, not great revelations there.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Pleas see my list of favorite authors.
What do you read for pleasure?
I actually read very little any more. Pretty much just enough to make sure I'm not writing a story that someone else has written already.
Describe your desk
Concisely, you could loose a small child on it.
