Interview with Eric Johan Stenseth

What are your five favorite books, and why?
My favorite books are The Satanic Bible and The Necronomicon because they are fascinating and really interesting.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read anything I find interesting rather it be poetry or even short stories.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Samsung Galaxy Note 5, also my laptop Lenovo
What is your strongest dream?
My strongest dream is to touch peoples hearts and connect with them on a level no one else possibly can.
Describe your desk
My desk is my bed, I sit on my bed and write away on my laptop, or I tend to use my phone to write my work.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Chicago, moved to Indiana and then to Texas. So I've been raised in many places but the person who influenced me to write is actually two people. My mother Shannon L. Martinez and my sister Synthia Maria Crouch.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in the summer of becoming a freshman, so the year 2007.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My work tells one big story, scene after scene. It connects with others views, thoughts, and dreams. And I hope many can relate to the words I wrote.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is hearing and seeing peoples reactions to my work. Many have been speechless. Which brings a smile to my face.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are my life. Without my fans I would not have the desire to keep writing.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I tend to make silly videos, sing, and just spend time with friends and family. Try to live life to the fullest.
What is your writing process?
My writing process used to be all about how everyone thinks poetry is. But as you read you will see the change in my writing process.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Living life, seeing others smile and laugh because of something I said or did.
What are you working on next?
Touching more hearts and giving others happiness.
