1. Runaway from the house to a local coffee shop.
2. Buy a mocha.
3. Type as fast as I can.
4. Return home and read everything I wrote.
5. Let my subconscious work on it until tomorrow.
6. Repeat.

My desk has too much stuff on it to use for writing. I use my laptop on my lap or at a table.

I grew up in Albuquerque, NM. I love to set stories here because of the unique scenery and attitude.

When I was fresh out of college, I had a summer teaching job at Kirtland Airforce Base. Towards the end of the summer, a very handsome parent with two children asked me out for dinner. I was engaged at the time and turned him down. Years later, for whatever reason, when I was super sick, I began to wonder what would have happen if I'd said yes. I didn't marry the man I was engaged to at the time, which also had an influence on the story. And of course, endless hours writing in coffee houses gave me the setting for the Holiday Cafe Series.

I like having complete control over the project. I've spent over a decade learning the writing craft and am finally ready to publish my stories to the world.

I love the rush of a new idea followed by the hardwork of making it come together as a dynamic story for readers.

The first book I remember reading was He Bear She Bear. I loved it because it showed girls could do anything boys could do, but also it was like unlocking a secret code I hadn't been privy to before.
