What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I used to write scripts, and script writing has its own limitations. Where as, writing for a book sets you free. You can imagine whatever and write whatever.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything
What are you working on next?
I am working on a love story set in ancient India where a a Greek man falls in love with an Indian princess.
Who are your favorite authors?
Undoubtedly, Paulo Coelho and JK Rowlings.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Life
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I read, I research, I love watching documentaries and I love talking to people.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love reading on spirituality which gives me immense pleasure.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle Fire
Describe your desk
I don't have a desk, I write on my laptop anywhere and everywhere, sometimes on the plane too.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Pakistan and in my teenage years I moved to New Zealand, the beauty, the culture and the people of these countries have inspired me to write, and I have a lot to thank them for.
When did you first start writing?
I remember I first wrote a short story about a lonely old man, it was when I was about 7 years old.
