What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Life in general. Even the boring days. Everything is an inspiration
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working as a copywriter at an advertising agency
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. I was 8 years-old and it as about a pencil and a rubber who met inside a pencil case and fell in love
What is your writing process?
First I make a lot of notes and small drafts. Then I create the characters and only then I start writing. I also like reading the last chapter I wrote before starting a new one so that I don't lose the tone.
How do you approach cover design?
As an advertising professional I know the importance of a good cover, so I always work with a professional illustrator.
What do you read for pleasure?
Literary Fiction and children's books
When did you first start writing?
As soon as I learned who to write.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Creating new worlds and characters. it's like playing God.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything! They keep me wanting to write more. I love to talk to them and always answer every single email or facebook post. I'm not the kind of author who only writes for his own ego. I always start by asking myself: is this story relevant to others? would I want to read this book?
If the answer is no, I write in my journals and keep it unpublished
What are you working on next?
A new novel about how a couple falls in and out of love.
