Describe your desk
My desk is a clutter of odds and ends that never seems to end (Giggle)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on a lovely stretch of country road in Central Alberta. My upbringing was tranquil and relaxed. The thoughts of my writing came by way of many life altering moments over the years to follow that as it turned out to be completely opposite of my upbringing
When did you first start writing?
I didn't start to write until my early 30's when I was needing to communicate with my family from miles away. I started writing by means of a blog that was set up for via a relative
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story that my book was written is based on my real life story of a battle between myself and my body. This is the fight of a girl within herself through alcoholism in my early years and being on my deathbed at 38 due to being diagnosed with the only terminal for of Multiple Sclerosis, this was set off by being hit by a drunk driver at the age of 32 at thirteen years sober.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I believed that my story would be able with a little help from me sell itself
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy I have received from writing is being able to help others though whatever journey they are on, and helping make that journey less painful. I am always filled to the brim with the comments I receive by helping others through their toughest times with a smile and strength they didn't know they had
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are the best part of my day, fans are what makes all the hours, days, years of indecsion and turmoil worth while
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
What inspires me to get out of bed is simply what God has planned for me.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I discover ebooks by searching out fighters like myself who continue to bite off more than they can chew and still thrive. I am easily sucked into the lives of others that by no fault of their own have had to battle back to life whether it is emotional, physical, mental, or all of the above to conquer on the new paths laid out before them.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I purchase most of my books through ISO this allows me to use my ipad for many things at the same time
