Interview with Fritz Blackburn

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to interact with Nature in simple ways. Fishing and making love to my wife are my favorite pass-times. Bush-walking and swimming in warm water come next. I like to play with children and animals.
What is your writing process?
I meditate until I have clarity. Then I get comfortable in bed and write what comes. I watch my emotions and thoughts and connect them all.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a Bavarian castle surrounded by forest. Who I am and what I write comes from the forest, the wisdom of Nature, from simplicity and from quiet spaces.
When did you first start writing?
I started selling fishing stories to magazines at age ten.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The world is crazy and needed a voice of sanity.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing and editing allow me to review the changes and the evolution of who I am. It is easy to see one self more objectively when rereading yesterday's errors and assumptions. Truly joyful is to succeed in expressing the Truth, the bones of what is beyond all illusion.
What do your fans mean to you?
We're all in the same boat. If we don't share, we're lost.
What are you working on next?
My next work, "Unhidden Faces of Woman" is a revision of feminism as well as a book for men who feel emasculated by the system, who may have lost their children, and who cannot find an authentic woman. A book for men who haven't given up the quest to find the Goddess, but have had enough of Barbie-dolls.
Who are your favorite authors?
John Pilger, Mantak Chia, Orson Card, Hermann Hesse, Friedrich Nietzsche

This unique parenting book is about the potential of your child and why it cannot be reached for cultural reasons in Western society. It shows how 'education' mostly brainwashes children into conformity, and how it reduces natural 6-sense learning to 2-sense learning, (hearing and seeing), constantly reducing intelligence. Travel offers the only real solution for those who want more.

Hinting at a new/ancient vision of feminism, “Unhidden Faces of Woman” gives a long-awaited voice to men who no longer find the woman of their dreams in consumer societies, who face only Barbie dolls, a dropping sperm-count, and emasculation. A comparison with intact near-tribal societies shows faces of woman we can no longer see in the West, and it enables the quest for the true Goddess.

"Chess Parenting" introduces "respectful parenting", where parents grow up along with their children. Via chess, essential values like self-responsibility and caution are learned without instructions. Generation-gap and "unruly teenagers" are avoided completely where authority is respected as competence. A Taoist perspective on parenting, this is paradigm-changing new thought.
