Interview with Toxic Bitch Publishing

What do your fans mean to you?
As of the current time we have a limited amount of authors but we know that TBP has already got its own fans, those enigmatic readers who can't enough of the boundaries we push. It is the fans of our authors that push us onwards to give more value for money and a better all round experience.
What are you working on next?
We have had submissions from ten new writers and are working on getting them formatted and uploaded to the main sellers over the winter. We are also working on a mega-erotica collection that will showcase the best from our authors.
Who are your favorite authors?
Jade Logan was the reason Toxic Bitch Publishing exists and she has strived to break down the boundaries that people have against erotica. There are many fantastic stories within the erotic scenes that people who are against it are missing out on. But every author who comes on board with us gets added to our list of authors!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
There's nothing better than following links and finding yourself somewhere you didn't imagine. Smashwords, Amazon and others showcase this opportunity in finding new authors and publishers.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Clive Barker's Sacrament, a huge horror drama that had a gay man as the main protagonist. It was rare at the time and caused a bit of controversy, but it turned my head as to what was possible in breaking down the barriers.
How do you approach cover design?
We find the most suitable image for the story or a representation of the story and work it out from there. All images are official stock photos that we have rights to use.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle Fire HD and also the iPad mini using multiple reading apps, there is a Nook laying around the place but hardly ever used.
