Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
That's an easy one as I never wrote much at all until I wrote "The 7 Year Plan". I hated written assignments all through school and for the most part just never really did them.
What is your writing process?
Pray, write an outline, pray, write a sub outline for each item in the outline, pray, write the opening sentence, pray, write a paragraph or two, pray...
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I dont remember the first story but I know that science fiction writers the likes of Ray Bradbury and Issac Asimov made a huge impact on my undeveloped visionary calling and Ian Fleming on my secret desire to be a covert agent.
How do you approach cover design?
Thats easy for me. One of my daughters, Kim is a great photographer and another, Rachel is a great graphic artist. Mix generously with a dose of dad's visionary bend and poof...you've got a cover!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
"The Late Great Planet Earth", "Satan is Alive and Well and Living on Planet Earth", "Final Quest", "Victorious Escatology" and "The Prophet's Dictionary" because I love the prophetic visionaries.
What do you read for pleasure?
Magazines; Yachting, Inc., Forbs, Fortune, Car & Driver. Need pictures...
