Interview with G E Washington

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work as a banker, which I enjoy. I manage a credit union where the best part of my job is helping people become financially fit! I also enjoy walking my dog and listening to music.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
When I found Smashwords, I found reading heaven. I really like the short stories. I have also downloaded a few from Amazon.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I'm sure it was in high school, but I was always starting and never completing them. Now when I sit down to write, working towards the ending is what gives me joy.
What is your writing process?
The story is always somewhere in the back of my mind. When it makes its way to the front, is when I start to write, I allow the characters to tell the story. Sometimes I have to keep them in line, but they guide me. I am simply the messenger.
